Hey just wanted to let you know that I love what you do and I've been downloading your scenes to try and learn how to make these! Koikatsu and Chara Studio is pretty overwhelming but I'm still gonna try to learn more. If you have tips (maybe tutorials I can follow hehe) please lmk!
Best advice I can give is to start with doing single character poses. Find a picture of a real person in an interesting pose and try to recreate it in Koikatsu. Standing poses are a a good place to start since it is close to the starting pose in Chara Studio. Then keep practicing making different types of poses and then trying to do poses with more than one character. This is a skill that you're going to use for pretty much every thing you make.
I post my own practice making poses under the "pose study" tag. I try to also post the image I used for reference. Maybe a good exercise would be to take one of those images and try to make it yourself. Then compare it with the scene card I posted.
That is just a standard Ring model that I apply a custom Main Texture to using Material Editor. When rendered with the "skin" material, it blends in nicely with the skin and looks like a part of the character. This is a trick I learned from Jonetius on Pixiv. It is also why I try to share my scene cards, since looking at other people's scenes is how I learn new techniques.
